This Valentine's Day coincides with Tremont's Februrary Walkabout. Gift yourself or your loved one some peace and calm. Lie down and relax while the soothing vibrations of Cathy's instruments wash over you. Sound baths have been shown to calm your mind, decrease stress, tension and anxiety, boost your mood and improve sleep.

During this sound bath, you will hear music from metal Tibetan bowls, a steel tongue drum and chimes. The hour-long sound bath will be followed by a half-hour of tea and community. You will be lying down or sitting on the floor for approximately one hour. We have a yoga mat and blanket for everyone, but feel free to bring any blankets, pillows, bolsters etc. that you would like to support your comfort during this experience.

This sound bath is scheduled during Tremont's Walkabout, a monthly event featuring extended hours and specials at neighborhood galleries, shops and restaurants. We are conveniently located on Kenilworth Avenue, half a block east of Civilization, Cloak & Dagger, and Lincoln Park. Sample the neighborhood, then treat yourself to a taste of serenity.

Please arrive on time as we are unable to accommodate late-comers once the sound bath has started. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking.

Accessibility: There is a small step up into the building, and a couple steps inside to reach the room.
